Hello,
wedding planner!
Introducing
The ultimate
guide to
Wedding Planning
Sometimes I’m asked the question, “Is hiring a wedding planner really necessary?”
My answer is always: “no.”
Having a WEDDING PLAN, however, is absolutely necessary.
What if I told you that YOU have what it takes to plan your own wedding?
That you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a professional planner?
That hiring a wedding planner isn’t the key to a successful wedding?
What if I told you that:
you CAN plan your own wedding, and that it WILL be fabulous?
This invaulable wedding planning guide was designed to give couples confidence as they embark on their planning journey. This guide is for you if you can say “Yes!” to ANY of the following:
• You don’t want to (or simply cannot afford to!) spend money hiring a professional planner
• You live in an area with few professional planners
• You’ve contacted professional planners only to learn they’re not taking new clients
• You enjoy planning and DIY-ing
• You are a control freak and need to be in charge of things (that’s how I am so I get it!)
• You want to put your own special touch on every aspect of your wedding
• You have tons of friends who’ve offered to help
• Your professional friends (caterers, photographers, etc.) have offered their services
• Your region doesn’t have any planners whose standards align with your own
Why listen to me?
I am a professional wedding planner, stylist, and florist. I began my business after planning my own wedding (because planning weddings is downright FUN!). My work has been featured on several prominent wedding blogs, and I’ve offered consultation services for up-and-coming planners. I am recognized throughout my region as a top planner and stylist.
Over the years I’ve helped countless couples plan and style their weddings. I won’t lie: it’s a lot of work. But it’s SO worth it. Seeing something that you’ve carefully crafted come to life is exhilarating and satisfying.
I take on a limited number of couples each year. I want to make sure I offer my very best to my couples, which means not taking more work than I can comfortably manage. I always feel bad when I have to turn down new inquiries for my services. It happens a lot, which means I feel bad a lot! So, I decided to do something about it. Even though I cannot personally accept every couple that seeks my services, I can offer guidance. I can present them with suggestions and insider knowledge so that they feel equipped to plan their own weddings. I can assure them that hiring a professional planner is NOT a requirement.
You won't find seating layouts, budget trackers, spreadsheets, or mood board templates here. You can make those things yourself with a simple software program or a good old-fashioned paper and pencil. What you will find is advice, tips + tricks, insider insights, thought-prompting questions, lists to keep you organized + prepared, and real-life timelines to serve as examples.
Happy planning!
